RECAP: Scandal‘s Final Season, Episode 1
Shonda Rhimes has done it again, airing out the seventh and final season of her hit TV show, Scandal.
On October 5, ABC launched the final season of Scandal, giving viewers a taste of what’s yet to come. The first episode is called ‘Watch Me’, and in case you missed it, I would stay clear of this recap.
With a little drama and excitement, the season started like no other. With Luna Vargas dead, Mellie Grant, Cyrus Beene, and everyone’s favourite, Olivia Pope, manage to make their way into the White House.
With Mellie as POTUS, Olivia Pope is her Chief of Staff, giving her all the power to work her way into DC. This episode didn’t disappoint as Olivia Pope is still her manipulative, power hungry self. She can be seen blackmailing a Senator into giving back a positive response on the free education bill, something Mellie had been cooking up in previous seasons.
OPA, or now QPA, which stands for Quinn Perkins and Associates, is seen scrounging for clients, slowly taking in that since Pope moved on to the white house, a lot of old clientele has vanished. Huck, Charlie, Abby, and Quinn, are given a case when Madeline Stewart needs help locating her father.
It had been a while since he contacted Madeline, leaving her confused and worried over his whereabouts. Jake Ballard, Director of the NSA and Oliva’s former flame, looks into her father only to find out that he’s a CIA agent who helps the Nation by working undercover. Ballard suggests that the only way to help out is to kill him, as theirs a possible risk of getting caught by a terrorist.
But just like clockwork, Olivia Pope cooked up another plan which saved Madeline’s father instead of ending his life, despite Jake’s protest.
Cyrus, Vice President of the United States, is still seen slithering around as he meets up with Senator Diane Greenwald to talk about the Vargas bill. Of course, she disagrees and tells Cyrus that he should start to figure out his future presidency, instead of always being under Olivia and Mellie.
The episode ended with Mellie and Ambassador Marachi, as they have a reunion to discuss the American assets being kept in Bashman.
It’s exciting to see where this season will take us. Until then, grab your favourite wine, a white hat, and tune in next time for another episode recap!
Episode Title 7.09 of Once Upon a Time Revealed
Adam Horowitz has taken to Twitter one more time to announce an episode title for season 7 of Once Upon a Time.
This time, the screenwriter went ahead and revealed the title for episode 7.09, “One Little Tear.”
The title could very well be a reference to Rapunzel’s origin story, where her tears have magical healing powers. We’ll have to wait and see.

Here’s Some New Information About Tiana in Once Upon a Time Season 7
TV Line released an article revealing some interesting details about Mekia Cox’s Tiana in the upcoming season of Once Upon a Time.
In the article, we learn that Tiana will make her first appearance in episode three “The Garden of Forking Paths,” where she meets Henry, Hook and the Evil Queen under not-too-good circumstances.
Tiana seems to have joined forces with Dania Ramirez’s Cinderella. According to showrunner Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, we meet Cox’s character “in a fairy tale realm in turmoil,” adding that she’s set on a mission to “restore freedom to her people.”
OUAT creators also explained Tiana’s personality, describing her as a strong person who has a lot of enemies. “She’s been through a lot when we meet her, but she never wavers even when doubting oneself would seem to be the most logical, and safe, course of action,” said Kitsis and Horowitz.
The seventh season of Once Upon a Time is set to premiere October 6, 2017.
Emma, Hook and Henry Reunite on Once Upon a Time‘s New Stills
As we know, Jennifer Morrison exited OUAT, but she did agree to return for one episode during season 7, and Entertainment Weekly has shared with the world some pictures and extra information we can hold on to.
Morrison will appear in episode two, called “A Pirate’s Life.” Details about the episode are a still a mystery, but Adam Horowitz did say, “We get to find out what has happened with Emma and Hook [Colin O’Donoghue] since our happy ending we showed last year.” He also said that Emma’s story will have what they consider a satisfying closure.
Edward Kitsis added they’re not doing flashbacks to the sixth season. “We’re moving forward past the end of season 6, seeing what happened with Emma and Hook, and how it relates to the events in Hyperion Heights,” said Kitsis, “it’s an emotional curtain call.”

The season finale drew 12.1 million viewers, almost two million ahead of the previously most watched episode, “Eastwatch.”
The previous season finale broke the same record at the time with 8.9 million viewers, and the finale for the very first season had 3 million viewers.

Game of Thrones Promo Pictures for Season Finale Released + Episode Title and Official Run Time
This year’s season finale of HBO’s Game of Thrones airs this Sunday, and fans are ready.
Last week’s episode left quite a big hole in our hearts for reasons we prefer not to talk about. Now, we’re going to see almost all of our favourite characters in the same place for what looks to be the biggest GoT get-together ever.
This season finale will be called “The Dragon and The Wolf,” and it will run for 79 minutes, 43 seconds, making it the longest Game of Thrones episode to date.
With the title making direct references to the Targaryen and Stark house sigils, we can’t help but wonder if we might finally see what really happened between Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, or maybe we’ll get to see some action between Jon and Dany after that lovely/sad moment they shared last week… or both! Who knows?
HBO also released the official season finale photos featuring our favorite players, including Bronn and Theon as well as the Stark and Lannister siblings.
Once Upon a Time Episode 7.05 Title Revealed
Adam Horowitz took to social media once again to announce the title of episode 7.05 of Once Upon a Time.
This time, the screenwriter chose Instagram instead of the usual Tweet, to share that episode 7.05 will be called “Greenbacks.”

Game of Throne‘s “Eastwatch” Breaks Show’s Viewership Record
This Sunday’s episode of Game of Thrones was nothing less than amazing. We got some big returns, long-awaited reunions, epic meet-ups and a couple of huge revelations.
Maybe that, and the fact that we’re getting closer to the end of this season is what made “Eastwatch” the most viewed Game of Thrones episode to date, with 10.72 million viewers.
The record was previously owned by “The Spoils of War” with 10.2 million viewers, which only held it for seven days, as it aired just over a week ago.
There are only two episodes left of Season 7, and with them being significantly longer than before, we have no doubt “Eastwatch” won’t keep this record for long.

Game of Thrones Episode 7.04 Beats Record for Most Watched Episode
As you may or may not know, episode 4 of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones “The Spoils of War” got leaked online last Friday, just a couple of days before the episode premiered Sunday night.
However, this did not stop the show from breaking a new record.
“The Spoils of War” is now the most watched episode of the show, drawing 10.2 million viewers. 7.04 beat beat 7.01, “Dragonstone,” which grabbed 10.1 million viewers.
Game of Thrones breaks this record rather often, as the season 6 finale held the most watched title previously with 8.9 million viewers and the season 5 finale before that with 8.1 million viewers.
Take a Step Into Once Upon a Time Season 7 With These New Stills + Regina’s New Name
According to Entertainment Weekly, Regina will not be the same person we’ve seen in season 7.
She’s now going to be called Roni, and will have a brand-new personality due to a new curse to hit our favorite transplanted Storybrooke residents.
Lana Parilla revealed she won’t be wearing pantsuits anymore, “I’m in denim and rock T-shirts. When we meet her, this other version of Regina, she’s working in a bar. She’s a bar owner. She’s a little rough around the edges… This version feels really different. She’s no longer in charge. We’ve always seen Regina in charge, and then she redeemed herself, but this Regina is something else. I’m having a blast playing her. We’re all still discovering who she is. It’s refreshing, it’s different.”
Colin O’Donoghue also had some things to reveal about Hook, saying: “when we meet Hook at the start of the season, he is a uniform cop in Seattle. He’s different from any of the other 10 different Hooks that I’ve played. I describe that there’s a sense of loss there in the guy and he just doesn’t know what it is that’s missing. He’s striving in some way to find who he is still, yet the Hook that we meet is trying to be the best uniform cop that he can be and do the right thing, but as is the case on Once Upon a Time, it’s more complicated than that.”
But don’t worry, we won’t be left forever wondering what happened with Emma, the show is expected to reveal what happened with the two in Episode 2.
The show has also unveiled 13 new stills of the upcoming season, which feature a reunion between Henry and Regina as well as Henry and Hook hanging out. Take a look:
