Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Character Posters
New character posters have been released for the second season of Star Trek: Discovery.
The new posters have a sleek black and white design, one each for Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Captain Gabriel Lorca (Jason Isaacs), Lt. Saru (Doug Jones), and Voq (Javid Iqbal…maybe).
Each poster also contains the tagline “Discover the Unknown,” which is a reference to the midseason finale, in which the USS Discovery jumped into uncharted space. The fact that each character has their back turned in their poster may also be a tease for the upcoming mirror universe episodes.

Iron Fist Season 2 Has Official Film Start Date
Iron Fist season 2 will begin filming on December 6 according to Spoiler TV.
After a rocky first season, it took a little longer for a second season to be confirmed for Iron Fist, unlike other shows such as Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.
Season 2 will be receiving some new updates including a new showrunner as well as Misty Knight (Simone Missick) being added as a recurring player in the show.
What’s interesting about the December start date is what it means for the premiere of the show. New seasons of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Daredevil are all set to premiere in 2018, but it is unclear whether Iron Fist season 2 will be joining them.
Seems like there’s a lot of new seasons to look forward to next year! The question is will Iron Fist be one of them?

Jessica Jones Season 2 Casts Arrow Actor as Recurring Guest Star
Arrow‘s J.R. Ramirez has joined the cast of Netflix’s Jessica Jones season 2.
Ramirez will play Oscar, who’s described in an article by Marvel as, “a devoted single father who moves into Jessica’s building as the new superintendent.”
In the article, it is said that while the character’s son is captivated by Jones’ powers, Oscar himself is very skeptical and worries about the trouble she might bring.
Showrunner Melissa Rosenberg said, “J.R. is an incredible addition to our cast, bringing complex and subtle emotion and humor. He exudes warmth, edge and intelligence, and blends perfectly with our tone.”
It’s already been speculated that Ramirez might be playing a potential love interest for Jones, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Big Little Lies Season 2 In Early Development
Our girls are getting ready for an encore!
HBO is close to officially announcing a Season 2 for Big Little Lies. The premium cabler’s programming president Casey Bloys confirmed during the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour on Wednesday that he has asked author Liane Moriarity to “take a crack at” coming up with a story for a potential second season. “I’ll be very curious to see what she comes up with,” he added.
Emmy Award nominees Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon have both expressed interested in continuing the story. But, executive producer / director Jean-Marc Vallée, who directed all seven Season 1 episodes, has been the sole naysayer.

Vallée: “There is no way; there’s no reason to make a Season 2. That was meant to be a one-time deal, and it’s finishing in a way where it’s for the audience to imagine what can happen.”
Bloys is a bit more positive that Vallée can be swayed. “I know [Jean-Marc] said that… but Nicole and Reese can be very persuasive. First we have to see the material and see if it’s worth everyone’s time. And if it is, [we’ll have a] conversation about directors.”
Maybe those 16 Emmy Award nominations and the boffo ratings Season 1 received might make for a convincing argument?
