First Teaser for The Punisher is Now Online
“The past is more than memories, is the devil you sold your soul to.”
Our first teaser at Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series The Punisher is here, and it looks brutal.
The teaser features Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher talking about his past. We also get a look at the traumatic events of Castle’s past, including the murdering of his family and his time serving in the Middle East.
Now, it’s important to note that this is not the footage shown during last month’s San Diego Comic-Con, the two trailers are reportedly very different and focus on two different aspects of the story.

Old Man Rick Scene Will be Explained on The Walking Dead‘s Season 8 Premiere
One of the most talked about scenes in the new trailer for the eighth season of The Walking Dead is the very last one, where we can see Rick as an old man waking up in what looks like a hospital.
There have been infinite theories about this weird scene, most notably that he could be waking up from a coma after the accident he had on the first episode… or maybe it’s just a dream sequence.
Either way, we will find out in the season premiere, executive producer Robert Kirkman has confirmed. “I’m pretty sure you’ll learn in the first episode what that means,” he said, at the Television Critics Association.
“Or was it the time jump,” asked Kirkman, “I don’t know, maybe it was Rick waking up from his coma. Wouldn’t that be weird? That is an intriguing tidbit that we did throw out there on purpose, and we’re hoping that people continue to question how it is that fits into the story line and what it is. Comic book fans know where a scene that kind of looked like that would fall, but it also doesn’t seem like we would be getting to that just yet if you were a comic book fan, so there’s a mystery to that.”
Season 8 of The Walking Dead will premiere October 22.

Looks Like Iron Fist and Luke Cage Won’t Start Their Relationship in The Defenders on Very Good Terms
It seems like Luke Cage and Iron Fist won’t be quite the BFFs we love from the comics at the beginning of Marvel’s The Defenders.
Actors Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) teased during last week’s San Diego Comic-Con that the two superheroes won’t have the nicest first meeting.
Jones said he thought their interaction was surprising, “everyone knows us as being BFFs and actually the first time we see each other there’s conflict, and it grounds and roots the characters into reality a little bit better, which I think is really interesting.”
Colter added that he thinks the way they first interact is due to the fact that the two characters come from very different paths. He said: “I think it’s just one of those things where Luke has the advantage of years of experience. He’s a little older than Danny, he’s sort of been around, done that. He’s been in prison! He’s got some miles, he’s got some experiences… I’m from the streets, and that’s where we operate.”
It seems like an interesting change from the comics.
Although if you think about it, Iron Fist did punch Luke Cage in the face in the first trailer for the upcoming serioes.
Marvel’s The Defenders is set to air all its eight episodes August 18 on Netflix.
