DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Official Season Finale Synopsis
The Legends of Tomorrow season 3 finale is just around the corner and The CW has released the official synopsis.
The season finale is titled, “The Good, The Bad, and The Cuddly,” a play on the Clint Eastwood Western, “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.”
But why a Western title?
Well, the episode takes place in the Old West and co-stars Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, a DC Universe antihero who has recurred on Legends at least once per season.
And the” Cuddly?” It’s possible that this could refer to Beebo, the stuffed animal first seen in the episode “Beebo, the God of War.” Beebo dolls later appeared in an episode of The Flash, and last week’s episode of Legends featured someone wearing a pair of Beebo socks. However, no mention has been made of Beebo.
Read the official synopsis below:
The Legends plan to vanquish Mallus but using the totems doesn’t go as planned, forcing Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill) to improvise. The team finds itself regrouping in the Wild West where they run into their old pal Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech). Sara (Caity Lotz) leaves Ray (Brandon Routh) in charge of watching Damien Darhk (Neal McDonaugh), while she comes up with a new plan. Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie Richarson-Sellers) is determined to find a way to use the totems to destroy Mallus.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT. “The Good, The Bad, and The Cuddly” will debut on April 9, after which Supergirl will return to finish out its season starting on April 16 in the same time slot.

Constantine’s Return To Legends of Tomorrow Confirmed
Matt Ryan is confirmed to return to Legends of Tomorrow as Constantine in March.
Warner Bros. confirmed for Comicbook.com that Ryan will return for the fifteenth episode of the season, titled “Necromancing the Stone,” which is set to air in five weeks.

Kid Flash To Join Legends of Tomorrow
After much speculation, The Flash’s Wally West will be joining the Legends of Tomorrow team… at least for now.
Many fans have suggested that Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West from The Flash would make a good addition to the show’s cast, and now star Brandon Routh has effectively confirmed the character’s inclusion.
During last weekend’s DC in DC event, Routh said that Kid Flash will become a member of the team “for a little bit.” He has not been confirmed to be a permanent addition to the team.
In Legends’ midseason finale, the team obtained two newbies, John Constantine (Matt Ryan) and Citizen Cold (Wentworth Miller), but neither are a permanent fixture. However, it’s not known whether Wally will stick around or merely serve as another rotating cast member.
Legends of Tomorrow returns to The CW Feb. 12.

Production Begins On Legends of Tomorrow Episode “Amazing Grace”
Legends of Tomorrow fans are going to have to wait a little longer for the return of the show, but in the meantime the show’s stars are getting back to work.
Both Dominic Purcell and Nick Zano, who play Mick Rory/Heat Wave and Nate Heywood/Steel respectively, shared photos to Instagram indicating that the cast was back to work filming for the series.

While Purcell’s photo doesn’t show much more than a typical Mick Rory facial expression, Zano’s photo gives us a glimpse at the upcoming title for episode 14.

As for what figure “Amazing Grace” might refer to, that’s anyone’s guess, though Legends star Caity Lotz (Sara Lance/White Canary) posted a photo on her own Twitter account showing her hair done in a curled style with the caption “My 1950s house wife or running for office Hair.”

It was enough for fans to speculate that the “Grace” in the episode title might refer to Grace Hopper, United States Navy rear admiral and pioneer of computer programming whose work led to the development of COBOL, an early high-level computer programming language that is still in use today. Hopper was referred to as “Amazing Grace” because of her accomplishments.
Whatever the meaning of the title, fans have to wait until the return of the show on Feb. 26 with the premiere of the tenth episode titled “Daddy Darhkest.”

REVIEW: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Episode 301
After a great season and a huge break, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is back with this first episode of the third season entitled “Aruba-Con” and this episode really seemed to set up for this season, which, by the way, looks like will be a great one.
After blowing up every existing time line ever, the Legends realized they really really screwed very badly this time. Unfortunately for them, some people were already trying to put these anachronisms where and when they belong: The Time Bureau, created by Rip. This means the Legends aren’t needed anymore, so they all go their separate ways, and start living normal lives. But of course that after one becomes a Legend and goes on great adventures throughout space and time, you can’t simply start living like everyone else. This was present especially with Jax, because we found out he dropped out of school, because no motor would be as fun to fix as one of a time travel ship.
It was hilarious seeing Sarah working at a store, trying all the time to fight her dark impulse to murder her boss. Jay started working on a company which managed a dating app, and I guess you can say he wasn’t very thrilled about it. The one who seemed to be doing better when it comes to heroism was Nate, who was occasionally working with Kid Flash. The most heartbreaking thing about all this was that, after realizing he really loved Amaya in the end of last season, we found out they split up and that she went back to 1942. Hope it won’ take long to see them back together.
Of course, things really start to change when Julius Caesar shows up in Aruba, and Rory finds him, or better, he finds Rory. This was exactly the start the team needed to get back on their feet, so some of them started to team up again very close to the beginning. They snuck into the Time Bureau and found out they really didn’t like the Legends. Sure they are sloppy, but they at least get the job done. Maybe they do end up creating more chaos, but they also solve that. Let’s say it in a non-ending cycle, but that is what makes the show great.
After wrongly realizing Rory’s Caesar wasn’t THE Caesar, the Legends realized they had to take matters into their own hands and catch him themselves. They steal the Waverider, put together the rest of the team, expect Amaya, and headed back to Aruba. It was amazing seeing JC trying to recruit some teenagers into joining him conquering the world. After Sarah totally kicked his ass, they took him to the ship and locked him up. In my opinion, it was amazing seeing Sarah kind of identify herself in JC, when it comes to give Caesar to the bureau or just take him to his own time herself. Sarah realized she started that mess, so he was going to help fixing it.
But of course this wouldn’t be Legends of Tomorrow if it was this simple. They did take him back to ancient Rome, but not without changing all of history, just because of one book. This was what brought the Legends and the Bureau to work together, bringing back the history we all remember. But, since this is the Legends we are talking about, things got sloppy and they started taking down Caesar’s army. The god news is that, in the end of the day, the Legends were the ones who saved the day, making the Bureau realize they aren’t as bad as they thought.
As I said, this episode did set up the season, and that seemed to be in a scene close to end, a scene between Rip and agent Sharpe, where they talk about someone who is coming: Mallus. Maybe this is going to be the new villain of the season. It definitely feels like a great one already, so I can’t wait to find out more.
In the end, we found out Amaya is also up to something since we saw her take down a group of men she called rapist with her power, but I am sure we will find out more about it soon.
Overall, I really liked this episode. It had great pace, great action scenes, comedy… everything this show as always had. I am giving it a 8.8/10.
Next week’s episode is entitled “Freak Show” and in it we will meet P. T. Barnum’s great show back in 1870, so don’t miss it.
Two-Night Arrowverse Crossover Announced
The CW has announced that the 2017-2018 television season’s Arrowverse crossover event will take place over two nights at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
The crossover event beings Monday, November 27 on Supergirl, followed by a special Monday episode of Arrow. The crossover continues Tuesday, November 28 on The Flash, then concludes on that night’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
CW boss Mark Pedowitz said that with The Flash and Legends already paired up on Tuesdays — and after discussions with producers and the marketing department — “We felt that it would be better and tighter in storytelling…. This was the best way to go.”
“Next year we may go back to four nights,” he allowed.
Pedowitz also made clear that unlike last year’s event, which technically started but barely took place on Supergirl, “It’s a full, four-episode crossover.” As for how one tops an alien invasion as a premise for the all-star team-up, all he would say is, “Romance is in the air.”
The Arrowverse’s very first crossover took place in December 2014 and started on The Flash and concluded on Arrow. In December 2015, Legends of Tomorrow villain Vandal Savage targeted Central City barista Kendra Saunders, triggering the involvement of Flash and Arrow heroes. Last year’s four-show, three-night event included Supergirl, as the many Superfriends battled the alien race known as The Dominators.
