Filming Begins for Daredevil Season 3
Filming is underway for Daredevil Season 3.
Earlier this year, a report indicated that filming was set to start on October 15 and finish June 30, but thanks to public notice signs that were shared on Twitter, we know that filming is now up and running on the streets of New York.

The sign indicates that the project title is “Ringside S3” which, as Daredevil fans will remember, was the working title for the shows second season.
Rumour has it that Daredevil Season 3 will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2018.

Marvel’s Daredevil Welcomes Back Vincent D’Onofrio; Erik Oleson Becomes New Showrunner for Season 3
Deadline reported today that Marvel’s Daredevil will be seeing the return of Vincent D’Onofrio as the reprise of Wilson Fisk for season three. D’Onofrio was the main villain in Season 1 of the Netflix Original and he also made an imprisoned appearance in Season 2 last year.
D’Onofrio teased his fans of his return with a banner photo of the Fisk character on his Twitter page.
Along with the return of D’Onofrio, Erik Oleson will be taking the role of showrunner for the third season. Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez were showrunners for Season 2 of Daredevil, however, both have moved on to handle the same duties on Marvel’s The Defenders.
In an interview with Deadline, EP and Marvel TV chief Jeph Loeb said, “We’re very excited how Marvel’s Daredevil develops through the creative lens and guidance of our new showrunner, Erik Oleson.”
Marvel and Netflix have yet to release a launch date for Daredevil’s Season 3.
Watch Iron Fist Punch Daredevil in the Face in Final Trailer for The Defenders
Marvel’s The Defenders drops in just hours and Netflix is not holding back with the trailers.
We already knew there was going to be some tension between the Defenders, and we kind of expected some awkward interactions, but seeing Iron Fist punch Daredevil in the face was kind of striking.
The trailer focuses a lot on Sigourney Weaver’s Alexandra as she addresses our four heroes directly.

Netflix Features a Whole Bunch of New Scenes in Latest Featurette for The Defenders
So this is like, serious business, huh?
Seems like everything won’t be just jokes and awkward interactions in the upcoming Marvel’s The Defenders.
The show drops all it’s eight episodes on Netflix this Friday, and the streaming service keeps building up excitement for the series as they’ve now released a featurette that showcases a bunch of unseen scenes.
The clips show a more serious tone to the series, which makes you realize the severity of the situation, and shows some of our favorite characters from previous shows in real danger.
In addition to that, Marvel is continuing their Twitter countdown by releasing a new short clip, now from Jessica Jones’ Twitter page.
Check out both videos below.

The FINAL Trailer for Marvel’s The Defenders is Here
The Defender drops all its episodes on Netflix in less than a week, and their publicity department is losing no time to make you hyped.
Marvel has dropped a final trailer for the upcoming series, featuring some more cool action as well as, surprisingly, a lot of Iron Fist.
The trailer seems to focus, at least at the beginning, on the way Iron Fist is trying to convince the Defenders that working together is the way to go. It also features some new action and maybe the start of a friendship between Danny Rand and Luke Cage?

Check Out This New Daredevil Clip from ‘The Defenders’ Season Premiere
It seems like our favorite Defender would have put away his suit at the beginning of Marvel’s The Defenders.
In this clip released on the show’s Twitter page, we see Matt Murdock lamenting on Elektra’s death and re-thinking his life-choices.

SDCC: New Trailer for Marvel’s ‘The Defenders’ Looks INCREDIBLE
The Comic-Con gods have given us an action-filled trailer for the upcoming Marvel’s The Defenders, and it looks amazing.
The trailer is filled with new action scenes and hilarious lines from our four superheroes who have to unwillingly come together to save the city.
The trailer features the reunion of Daredevil and Elektra, as well as Sigourney Weaver’s Alexandra giving Elektra a very confusing analogy about war.
Check out the trailer:

It was also confirmed during Comic-Con that Daredevil and Iron Fist are both getting new seasons.
Marvel’s The Defenders comes out in less than a month, on August 18.
We Got a New Image from Marvel’s ‘The Defenders’
Another image for Netflix’s The Defenders has been released.
The poster features our “gang of four:” Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage (looking like he’s about to hurt someone pretty badly), and Iron Fist.
The image looks like it will be used as a promotional banner for an interview of sorts due to the text on it: “Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist have united to form street-level supergroup The Defenders, the four stars brief us on what to expect.”
Here it is:
Marvel’s The Defenders is set to air on Netflix August 18.

10 Fictional Characters That Would Survive a Zombie Apocalypse
The threat of a zombie invasion has been a popular theme to entertain (and terrify) the masses since 1932’s White Zombie came out, shocking audiences. In recent years, the idea of humanity’s downfall at the hands of reanimated corpses has taken hold of entertainment media as more than just a seasonal horror flick for people who love being scared to sleep at night; from The Walking Dead to the cutesy Plants vs. Zombies franchise, the peculiar possibilities of what one would actually do if one was trapped in a zombie apocalypse both fascinates and disturbs. Since the entire scenario is based on fiction, here’s a list of 10 fictional characters who stand a fighting chance of surviving the reign of the undead.
10) Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games)

Suzanne Collins’s girl on fire is no stranger to the game of survival (remember when she dug through a baker’s garbage to scrounge for food? And when she illegally traded some of her meats at The Hob? And also when she was bold enough to sell strawberries to the mayor of District 12, even though that was illegal too?) After making it through two televised fights to the death and assassinating a district president all before she hit the legal drinking age, Katniss would probably be desensitized to the blood and gore that comes with the territory of a zombie apocalypse. While she was unwittingly turned into a symbol of hope and the face of a cross-district revolution, Katniss is happier in solitude, where she can hunt for food with her bow-and-arrow, sleep in a tree, steal a quick bath in a stream and enjoy her own personal model of streamlined survival success. Her one weakness would be coming across parentless children (and Peeta, who’s basically in the same boat, with how naive he can be), but she’d take them under her wing, form a ragtag little family of outcasts, and kick undead kiester to protect them.
Though she’d probably be elated to avoid other human beings all together, Peeta would most likely convince her to use her superb archery skills to fight through the zombie hoards and save people who can’t save themselves. We imagine she would enjoy letting an arrow fly through a zombie’s eye or hacking one into bits with a knife. Don’t mess with this mama bear’s cubs (biological or otherwise) or she’ll kill you.
