Episode 3.02 – Triggers.

The X-Files Recruits Carol Banker and Holly Dale to Direct in Season 11
The X-Files had a bit of a rough time in June when it was revealed that all 10 episodes for their upcoming season would be written by men. The show experienced a lot of social media backlash, and even Gillian Anderson (Agent Dana Scully on the show) criticized the decision.
Now, according to TV Line, it was announced that two episodes of the show’s eleventh season will be directed by women.
One of them is Carol Banker, who already has a history with the franchise. She was a script supervisor from 1999-2002 and was a director on The Lone Gunman.
They also recruited, Holly Dale, a very experienced director who’s worked on TV shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Timeless and Reign.
The X-Files is expected to come back on early 2018.
Did Darren Criss Just Reveal Lena Dunham’s Role in AHS: Cult?
It seems like Lena Dunham is having an interesting role in American Horror Story’s upcoming season.
Glee‘s Darren Criss might have accidentally given away a spoiler as to what we will see of Lena Dunham during Cult.
The actor revealed during an interview that he was taking a break in between scenes of American Crime Story when he saw some outdoor filming, he asked what was being filmed and someone from the set gave him a bit more information than they should have.

Take a Step Into Once Upon a Time Season 7 With These New Stills + Regina’s New Name
According to Entertainment Weekly, Regina will not be the same person we’ve seen in season 7.
She’s now going to be called Roni, and will have a brand-new personality due to a new curse to hit our favorite transplanted Storybrooke residents.
Lana Parilla revealed she won’t be wearing pantsuits anymore, “I’m in denim and rock T-shirts. When we meet her, this other version of Regina, she’s working in a bar. She’s a bar owner. She’s a little rough around the edges… This version feels really different. She’s no longer in charge. We’ve always seen Regina in charge, and then she redeemed herself, but this Regina is something else. I’m having a blast playing her. We’re all still discovering who she is. It’s refreshing, it’s different.”
Colin O’Donoghue also had some things to reveal about Hook, saying: “when we meet Hook at the start of the season, he is a uniform cop in Seattle. He’s different from any of the other 10 different Hooks that I’ve played. I describe that there’s a sense of loss there in the guy and he just doesn’t know what it is that’s missing. He’s striving in some way to find who he is still, yet the Hook that we meet is trying to be the best uniform cop that he can be and do the right thing, but as is the case on Once Upon a Time, it’s more complicated than that.”
But don’t worry, we won’t be left forever wondering what happened with Emma, the show is expected to reveal what happened with the two in Episode 2.
The show has also unveiled 13 new stills of the upcoming season, which feature a reunion between Henry and Regina as well as Henry and Hook hanging out. Take a look:
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 Might Premiere Mid-November
On early Sunday, ABC Chief Channing Dungey was asked about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s premiere date, and the answer surprised many fans who thought the show wasn’t coming back until January 2018.
“It’s going to come on right after Inhumans, as soon as the eight episodes of Inhumans is done, then S.H.I.E.L.D. will begin,” Dungery said during the Television Critics Association press tour.
Now, Inhumans is set to show its first two episodes on IMAX theatres on September 1, and later premiere on ABC on September 29, which means the season could end on November 10 if there are no breaks. Therefore, the fifth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. could very well premiere as early as November 17.
However, according to Comic Book Movie, it’s more likely that ABC will actually stick to that January 2018 date, so the show can run uninterruptedly.
Check Out the New Character Posters for Marvel’s Inhumans
Marvel’s Inhumans has certainly not have the best luck so far. The first trailer disappointed a lot of people, Medusa’s powers disappointed a lot of people, Anson Mount as Black Bolt disappointed a lot of people, and the first reviews for the series are not favourable… at all.
However, they’re not giving up. The show was filmed, a lot of money was spent on it, and it’s happening this fall.
Now, nine character posters have been released. The posters feature Black Bolt, Medusa, (Serinda Swan), Maximus (Iwan Rheon), Gorgon, (Eme Ikwuakor), Crystal (Isabelle Cornish), Triton (Mike Moh), Auran (Sonya Balmores), Karnak (Ken Leung), and Louise (Ellen Woglom).

REVIEW: Once Upon A Time in Wonderland, Episode 106
The story of Alice’s struggle for love in this new world continues with episode 106 of Once Upon A Time in Wonderland, “Who’s Alice”.
Flashbacks in this episode showed us where Alice went after she lost Cyrus and before she joined Bethlem Royal Hospital (fun fact: this is based on a real asylum in London, the oldest in the world). Alice went home where she found her father’s new family: his new wife, Sarah, and his new daughter, Millie. Of course that her father continues not believing Alice but, let’s be fair, who would? He could obviously try a lot harder to understand what his daughter went through, but his new wife definitely doesn’t help by forcing Alice to meet someone else. It was never to expect that Sarah would try to understand Alice’s situation, that is more Edwin’s job, but it would have definitely been nice to see him stand up to her. I think he wasn’t really a fan of the idea of forcing Alice to marry, and that he was hoping he didn’t have to pick a side between his daughter and his wife, but when it comes to family you can’t not take sides. Realizing that ultimately her father took Sarah’s side, Alice preferred to go to the asylum than marry some dude. I wonder if these parents (specially Sarah) would make the same choices and demands if this whole thing was about Millie instead of Alice. Maybe. But maybe not.
Present day begins after Alice found the location of Jafar’s tower, and now she is headed that way. Right in the first few scenes we see her kick the ass of 2 men, and it was really funny when they found Will and said that Alice attacked them while they were sleeping. We are all like “yeah, right”, including Will. Jafar definitely made an amazing prison: very hard to escape, since we learn that the tower is in a floating island, and also hard to get rescued, since you have to cross the Black Forest to do so. This forest definitely stood up to its name, because everything was literally black. Most people in Wonderland didn’t know this, but the reason why no one returned wasn’t because of this first part, but because of the second: Borogrove. Here we meet the creepiest man ever who apparently goes by the name Carpenter. The reason why very few people leave is because this place makes you want to stay there forever. But not all is lost because Will comes to Alice’s rescue. But even after that, things decline because Alice doesn’t remember anything, so Will makes her remember by using Cyrus’ neckless, proving once again that love is the most powerful magic of all.
Sometimes things are left unexplained, and that sucks real badly, but it is great that they explained why Borogrove didn’t affect Will: because he doesn’t have his heart. I think this makes sense because it makes you want to stay by giving you happiness (not real happiness, but happiness nevertheless), and since he doesn’t have his heart he can’t feel anything, neither real nor fake. It was also nice seeing Alice happy, even if it wasn’t real happiness and it was only for a short while. She is on a quest for love and that will probably only lead to one of the two: heartbreak, or a happy ending (or happy beginning if you prefer). Since happy endings are hard to come by, at least we managed to see her smile, just in case she doesn’t succeed.
At the same time, we see Cyrus also meaning to find Alice, while on the run from Jafar’s guards and the Red Queen. It was nice seeing the Queen here. She has the bottle and if she finds Cyrus, then Jafar can’t continue underestimating her. The writers are definitely well developing her character, and I like her more and more every episode. But her efforts are worthless, because when Cyrus is caught between Anastasia and a cliff, he literally takes a leap of faith.
This episode was nice, but I feel like it was more of a filler episode, because nothing much happened that affected the major storyline. This was a little bit of a step back in the season, so I will give it a 7.6.
I will be back soon with my next review of episode 107, “Bad Blood”, in which blood ties will become a burden.
Take a Look at These Creepy Character Posters from American Horror Story: Cult
These new character posters from AHS: Cult look pretty normal and glamorous at first glance, but as you stare a little longer, things start to get creepy.
The posters introduce our new characters: Detective Samuels (Colton Haynes), Harrison Wilton (Billy Eichner), Ivy Mayfair-Richards (Alison Pill), Dr. Rudy Vincent (Cheyenne Jackson) and Winter Anderson (Billie Lourd).
If you pay enough attention, you’ll notice that all of them are being stared at from a not-so-safe distance.

According to Variety, Noel is set to recur as Samanda Watson, an FBI agent investigating Oliver Queen’s connection to the Green Arrow.
The character has been described as dedicated woman who won’t stop until the Green Arrow’s secrets are revealed, as well as “intelligent and poised with a no nonsense attitude.”
Season 6 of Arrow will premiere October 12.
Supergirl Casts Carlos Bernard in Season 3
24 actor Carlos Bernard has joined the cast of Supergirl for season 3.
According to TV Line, Bernard will guest star during the upcoming season as Maggie Sawyer’s cop father, Oscar Rodas.
Now, this might not be the happiest of family reunions. We now know that Maggie’s parents didn’t have the most welcoming reaction when she told them she was a lesbian.
In case you don’t remember, last season we learned Maggie got kicked out of her house by her father as a teenager. This happened after a big fight she had with her parents when she came out as gay.
Bernard had teased his involvement in the show earlier this week via Twitter.
