Iron Fist Season 2 Has Official Film Start Date
Iron Fist season 2 will begin filming on December 6 according to Spoiler TV.
After a rocky first season, it took a little longer for a second season to be confirmed for Iron Fist, unlike other shows such as Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.
Season 2 will be receiving some new updates including a new showrunner as well as Misty Knight (Simone Missick) being added as a recurring player in the show.
What’s interesting about the December start date is what it means for the premiere of the show. New seasons of Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Daredevil are all set to premiere in 2018, but it is unclear whether Iron Fist season 2 will be joining them.
Seems like there’s a lot of new seasons to look forward to next year! The question is will Iron Fist be one of them?

Sorry, Game of Thrones Fans, but Those Spinoffs Won’t Air Anytime Soon
HBO chief Casey Bloys has confirmed that the Game of Thrones spinoffs currently in development will not hit the network anytime close to the series finale.
Bloys spoke to the press on Wednesday at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour.
He told reporters:
The No. 1 priority in all of this is the final season of Game of Thrones. I don’t want to do anything with a spinoff or anything that detracts or distracts from that.
That season will happen, and my guess is it would be at least a year before you saw anything else. What I don’t want is the attention to be drawn from the final season, which I think is going to be epic and amazing, and somehow have the distraction of a new Game of Thrones airing right after that. It’s best to separate it and that’s what we’ll do.
If season 8 of the highly acclaimed show does indeed come out in 2019, that would mean we won’t get a spinoff until at least 2020!
For now, at least we can just relax as we watch our favorite characters die while watching the current season.

Men of the Strip Star Nate Estimada Passes Away
Las Vegas entertainer Nate Estimada, known as “The Midknight Cowboy” on E! Entertainment’s reality TV series Men of the Strip (inspired by the Vegas act) passed away on Wednesday, June 18. Estimada was 25, and the cause of his death is an apparent suicide.
The Las Vegas resident was a member of the new adult-male revue Men of the Strip, which was launched by 98 Degrees founder and lead singer Jeff Timmons. Estimada previously was a performer in Chippendales at the Rio.
Timmons Instagrammed this statement:
I am heartbroken at the passing of my brother Nate Estimada. Nate was a gift to all of us and will be missed not only personally as a friend but also as a member of Men of the Strip.
My love, prayers and thoughts go out to his family, friends and loved ones. He will be missed dearly, and we will keep him in our hearts forever.
Men of the Strip choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard had this to say on his blog site:
From the start of this dream MEN OF THE STRIP, it was all about the guys for me, and to have a perfect diverse sexy set of guys, Nate was the only cast member that I didnt have to create a character name for him, cuz he was already “THE MIDKNIGHT COWBOY” and he had alot of “cowboy business” to spread and teach. We instantly knew he was going to be a big part of this dream.
The day he passed, we lost a big part of the dream, but Nate wanted others to be happy, and the dream of Men of the Strip will continue, it will continue hopefully way pass my lifetime, so we will honor him, we will do a tribute to our fallen brother, because he will always be part of us, and his spirit will be with us in every show we do.
Men of the Strip’s Facebook page posted their tribute to the late Estimada:
Management & cast of Men of the Strip is extremely saddened at the loss of one of our own. Cast member Nate Estimada passed away on Wednesday, June 18th. We are heartbroken at the loss of our brother and friend and send our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, friends and fans. Our thoughts and prayers are with them all at this time.
May he rest in peace…
