Trailer For Solo: A Star Wars Story Likely To Be Released This Week
Another rumour has been reported that the trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story is coming out later this week.
Lucasfilm hasn’t released any marketing materials yet for the movie. That development could likely be attributed to the studio wishing to keep the focus on The Last Jedi, but it has made people concerned about Solo‘s potential quality.
Twitter account Star Wars Junk shared info from a source at AMC corporate, saying the Solo trailer is scheduled to be placed with this week’s Maze Runner: The Death Cure. It’s expected the preview will be released online a couple days prior, with Wednesday, January 24 being the most likely.
#Solo trailer this week, most likely Wednesday. Source at the corporate side of AMC tells me Solo trailer will be placed (not attached) with Maze Runner releasing Jan 26. But trailer will hit online days before. Guys been right before. But file as rumor as always. (Errors fixed)

Peter Parker Reportedly To Be Seen in Venom Movie
It was previously mentioned that Spider-Man would not be appearing at all in the upcoming movie, Venom. However, it turns out we still may not see our webbed friend, but Peter Parker could be making an appearance.
Scooper Jon Schnepp appeared on the most recent episode of Collider Movie Talk this week, and informed the hosts that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is set to make an appearance in the Tom Hardy-starring Venom film, which is currently in production.
Tom Holland was on set filming scenes on Venom for at least two days as Peter Parker,” Schnepp said. “I’m not saying that Spider-Man is in the film. When I say that ‘Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is in the film,’ I’m saying ‘Peter Parker is in the film.’ This is a cameo.”
“Many fans have wondered whether Venom would even be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the movie is coming out through Sony Pictures. But rather than being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Spidey spinoffs could be considered “Marvel adjacent,” according to Schnepp’s interpretation of producer Amy Pascal’s comments.
Venom will hit theatres October 5.

New Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Set Photos Released
Harry Potter fans get ready, Warner Bros. has released new set photos for the upcoming second instalment of Fantastic Beasts coming later in 2018, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
The latest batch of images show Eddie Redmayne’s Newt Scamander getting a postcard from Paris where the new film is largely set, and then Newt and Jacob (Dan Fogler) on the streets of France’s capital in 1927, one year after the events of the first movie.
Earlier this month, we got a glimpse of Jude Law’s Dumbledore, who’s pictured in an office. But who is the mystery man behind him? Many social media users are speculating he could be the one and only Nicholas Flamel, AKA the man who discovered the Elixir of Life and co-created the Philosopher’s Stone with Dumbledore.
And who can forget the man responsible for all the havoc in the first instalment, Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). After escaping MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America) custody, he’s pictured here with his loyal follower Vinda Rosier, played by Poppy Corby-Tuech.
At a fan Q&A last year, director, David Yates, promised a “grittier” film.
“The first film had a level of whimsy; the characters felt like children in grown-up bodies,” he said.”In this movie, it gets grittier and more nuanced and detailed. It’s quite a romantic film, it’s a thriller, it’s quite an interesting combination of genres you rarely see together. I think it will surprise people.”
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released on November 16, 2018.

Kid Flash To Join Legends of Tomorrow
After much speculation, The Flash’s Wally West will be joining the Legends of Tomorrow team… at least for now.
Many fans have suggested that Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West from The Flash would make a good addition to the show’s cast, and now star Brandon Routh has effectively confirmed the character’s inclusion.
During last weekend’s DC in DC event, Routh said that Kid Flash will become a member of the team “for a little bit.” He has not been confirmed to be a permanent addition to the team.
In Legends’ midseason finale, the team obtained two newbies, John Constantine (Matt Ryan) and Citizen Cold (Wentworth Miller), but neither are a permanent fixture. However, it’s not known whether Wally will stick around or merely serve as another rotating cast member.
Legends of Tomorrow returns to The CW Feb. 12.

The Guardians will be returning to the big screen for Vol. 3 of Guardians of the Galaxy.
During a short Q&A session on Twitter last night, Gunn reaffirmed that the third installment will hit theaters sometime in 2020, but a release year was all Gunn was able to share as Marvel has yet to confirm any release dates beyond their Phase Three films.

Details about the third instalment are very limited, but Gunn has also previously teased that he’s talked with Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige about other stories that could spinoff of the main Guardians franchise.
“When we’re talking about Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and that story, that’s a story that will lead to other stories,” he said. “It’s innate to the DNA that that’s the end of a trilogy but it’s the beginning of a whole other element of the Marvel Cosmic universe.”

Gillian Anderson to Leave X-Files After Season 11
As the 10-episode season return of X-Files draws near, fans can also prepare to say goodbye to the beloved Dana Scully.
Gillian Anderson raised suspicion back in October at New York Comic Con about her departure from the show, but in a recent interview with TV Guide she confirmed this will be her last season.
“I’ve said from the beginning this is it for me,” said Anderson. “I was a bit surprised by people’s [shocked] reaction to my announcement because my understanding was that this was a single season.”
Fox has not committed to any other seasons after the 11th, however series creator Chris Carter insists to TV Guide that he did not craft the last episode as a series finale. “There are a lot more X-Files stories to tell,” he said. “Whether we get to tell them is a question mark.”
The series returns Jan. 3 @ 8/7 c.

Everything You Need to Know About Iron Fist Season 2
The first season might not have gotten the greatest critic rating, but that hasn’t stopped the show from getting a second season. Here is everything you need to know about Iron Fist Season 2:
Release date?
The second season has only just started filming in December, around the same time as Daredevil season three, so we won’t be seeing Iron Fist season two in the same March slot as its first season. We may have to wait until March 2019 for Iron Fist season two.
Cast?
The first-look photo confirmed that Danny (Finn Jones) and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) would be back. Also returning will be Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum and Sacha Dhawan as Davos, Danny’s best friend from K’un-Lun.
In early December, Star Trek: Into Darkness star Alice Eve was confirmed to be joining the cast in season two. However, we don’t yet know what her role will be other than the fact that there will be “an intrigue and danger to her character unlike anyone else,” according to Marvel’s head of television Jeph Loeb.
New showrunner?
EW reported that Scott Buck was stepping down as showrunner, with Raven Metzner taking over for season two. Metzner has previously worked on the likes of Sleepy Hollow, Falling Skies and Heroes Reborn, with his main movie role to date being the writer of Elektra.
Plot?
As well as helping to defeat the Hand, Danny ended The Defenders by sitting on a rooftop in New York City, illuminated by his iron fist.
The assumption is that with Daredevil currently sidelined (depending on what happens in season three if it arrives before Iron Fist‘s second run), Danny will take over as the protector of Hell’s Kitchen, keeping it safe until Matt Murdock’s return.
Matt found himself in prison after his identity is revealed, leading to Danny ‘taking over’ as Daredevil to protect New York City and give Matt a cover story that he might not actually be Daredevil. When he was released from prison, a misunderstanding saw the two fight on a rooftop – as you do – before order was restored.
