Where’s Glee? FOX Reveals 2014 Fall Schedule, Including Big Moves for 2 Fan Favorites
FOX unveiled its schedule for the 2014-15 TV season, and here are the big headlines: Batman origin tale Gotham has landed the Monday lead-off spot; the ever-resilient Bones is relocating to Thursdays; and the network is shaking up its Sunday animation block by adding two live-action comedies (including Brooklyn Nine-Nine).
American Idol will eat up less of FOX’s schedule next season. The once-mighty singing competition will likely launch with its traditional twice-weekly structure during the audition rounds before transitioning to a two-hour show on one night for the remainder of the season.
Glee‘s sixth and final season order, originally slated to be 22 episodes, will be trimmed to 13.
Sleepy Hollow is returning in a big way for Season 2, with Fox upping the number of episodes to at least 18.
The network officially cancelled Almost Human, Dads, Enlisted, Raising Hope, Rake, Surviving Jack and The X Factor. (more…)
The Simpsons Predicted a Broncos vs. Seahawks Super Bowl in 2005
Apparently the folks in Springfield on FOX’s The Simpsons can see the future. The show’s official Twitter account shared an image from the 2005 episode “Bonfire of the Manatees” that shows Homer Simpson watching the Super Bowl.
In that episode, the two teams playing in the Super Bowl are the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos. Nine years later… they are facing off at Super Bowel 2014!
The real test as to whether or not The Simpsons can see the feature is if the final score ends up coming true. On the animated series, the Broncos won with 19 points to the Seahawks’ 14.
