Paul Bettany Joins Han Solo: A Star Wars Story in Mistery Role
The actor who plays Vision in the MCU is the latest addition to the Han Solo movie.
Paul Bettany joined the cast of the movie, just as reshoots get close to an end. According to Variety, Bettany is set to take over the character played by Michael K. Williams, who had to leave the production earlier this year due to other commitments.
Director of the movie Ron Howard (who took over Christopher Miller and Phil Lord) was the one to share the news on his Twitter, sharing a photo of him and Bettany with the caption “the Outer Rim just got a little bit wilder.”

Marvel also released an international trailer recently featuring all of our main cast:
The Joker Origin Movie Developing Without Jared Leto
Deadline has reported that a new Joker movie is in the works over at Warner Bros… without Jared Leto.
As we know, Leto was the latest actor to take on the Joker on the silver screen, a role who has been brilliantly played before by Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson. Even though Leto’s performance was criticized by a lot of fans, others admired his work as the character and are genuinely upset to see that he will be left out of the movie.
These fans mustn’t worry, however, Leto is not out of the DCEU as he was confirmed to make appearances in both Suicide Squad 2 and the Harley Quinn solo movie.
Now the question becomes, why is Leto not reprising his role as the Joker in this origin movie? Well, according to the article, this origin movie would be the first of a new set of DC movies that would “expand the canon of DC properties and create unique storylines with different actors playing the iconic characters.”
The Joker origin movie already has some behind-the-camera talent attached. Martin Scorsese (Taxi Drivers, Goodfellas, The Wolf of Wall Street) is set to produce alongside Todd Phillips (The Hangover, War Dogs) who will also direct and co-write with Scott Silver (The Fighter, The Finest Hours).
The movie would be set in the 80s and have a very different feeling from current DC films, leaning more towards the sensation of a Scorsese movie of the same time.
The movie doesn’t have a release date as of now.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Spin-Off is Officially Developing
Fans have been asking for it forever, and now The Hollywood Reporter has officially confirmed that Lucasfilm is developing an Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off.
THR also confirmed that Academy Award nominee Stephen Daldry is in talks to direct the film. Daldry has directed critically acclaimed films like Billy Elliot and The Hours.
Ewan McGregor, actor who played the Jedi mentor in the prequels, hasn’t been confirmed to reprise the role. However, he has shown interest in starring on a spin-off before, and his portrayal of the character is a fan-favorite.
The picture is only in early development and it doesn’t have a script yet.
Superman’s Appearance in Justice League May Have Just Been Spoiled
POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR JUSTICE LEAGUE AHEAD.
Could Superman show up… in Venezuela?
It’s not rare when toys spoil a comic book movie, especially in the DCEU it seems. Now, the latest instance of this happening seems to be related to the return of Superman in Justice League.
The description of a Funko Figure has potentially given away the exact moment when Superman will come in to help the Justice League.
The Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Flash figures are barely holding their own against invading Parademons and an axe-wielding Steppenwolf. If only Superman — in Funko figure form — was here… LOOK! UP IN THE SKY! Is that…is that Superman?? IT IS! It’s the Superman Justice League Movie Funko Pop Vinyl Figure and it resurrected itself moments before Steppenwolf skewered Wonder Woman with a hefty chunk of Venezuela!
Could this be Zack Snyder’s way of getting rid of the backlash he’s faced for destroying Gotham and Metropolis? Could audiences really care more about the destruction of two fictional cities than the one of a real-life country?
Either way, it seems like Superman will show up during a pivotal moment, just in time to save the day.
This potential spoiler also comes just days after Donald Trump threatened the Venezuelan government with military intervention, so Snyder could be setting himself up for some backlash. However, it’d certainly be interesting to see how he and Joss Whedon portray the country, given Venezuela’s current political instability.
Paul Bettany Confirms Whether or Not Vision Will Survive Avengers: Infinity War
With one of the Infinity Stones smack in the middle of Vision’s forehead, many fans have feared he’ll be one of the casualties during Avengers: Infinity War.
Luckily, based on what Paul Bettany (who plays Vision) said, we might see Thanos remove the android’s Infinity Stone without killing him. Bettany confirmed he’s returning to Avengers 4 now that it has started filming.
According to Comic Book Movie, here’s what the actor had to say:
It felt like the biggest movie that I’ve ever made and will ever make, and we’ve still got to make the [next] one. It’s fucking crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my make-up, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn’t. It was where all of the trailers were. It’s massive! The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast members, you’re like, ‘How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood, this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!’
Then he added some insight about what is like to work in the movies:
[The Russos] are so great. They’ve got so much trust, from the cast and from Kevin Feige and Marvel, in general. They’re incredibly on top of the day, when you show up, and they’re very open to your input and collaboration. They were incredibly relaxed. It was a wonderful, relaxed set that was stress-free. It was a stress-free set.
Some fans have already speculated that Vision might turn human after the stone is removed, we’ll have to wait and see.
Take Look at a Clearer Version of Captain Marvel SDCC Art
Ever since the Captain Marvel panel at San Diego Comic Con unveiled concept art for the movie, the artist who made said concept art has been asked time and time again to upload an HD version.
The bad news, artist Andy Park is not allowed to share the image in high resolution.
The good news, Park is a kind soul and he decided to upload a better version of the art, without going full high resolution.
The image features Brie Larson as Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel in her full costume.
We are more than contempt, thanks Andy!
