NYCC: The Justice League Trailer is HERE
Thank you, New York Comic-Con.
As much as people complain about the DCEU, one has to admit, they always deliver one heck of a trailer.
Yes, people, the Justice League Heroes Trailer has dropped and it checks almost every box.
I say almost because there is still no sign of Dark Superman, although we do get both a look at Henry Cavil and a black Superman logo.
Other than that, the three-minute trailer is packed with action and filled with nice, funny, and even tender moments between our league of heroes.

Geoff Johns Confirms DCEU Movies Are “100%” Connected
The people over at the DCEU have done a fantastic job confusing all fans about the upcoming slate of movies.
In a recent interview, Geoff Johns said the DCEU post Justice League would stop the need to connect all the stand-alone movies.
The comments were quickly misunderstood by fans, thinking that his comments meant that the different DC movies would not take place in the same universe.
However, this is not the case, as Johns quickly shut down the rumours. What he meant is that the DC movies would have a shared line of events the way Marvel does.

Warner Bros. is, indeed, working on a series of stand-alone spin-offs but for now, our main Justice League characters will stay in the same universe.

During his first appearances in comics, Hawk is a superhero who teams up with his brother Don, who’s supposed to represent order, while Hawk represented chaos. He has heat vision, superhuman strength, speed, reflexes and invulnerability.

Is This the Final Confirmation We Needed That We’re Getting Black-Suited Superman in Justice League?
Ever since Superman’s death in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice fans have speculated that he’d come back with a black suit.
Well, now fans have something to hang on to, as Mattel’s Justice League catalogue features Superman in a black suit.
Even though this is not 100% confirmed, it’s a pretty strong hint that we might be able to see Henry Cavil’s Superman sporting some different colors.
Courtney Ford Joins Cast of Legends of Tomorrow as Damien Darhk’s Daughter
Courtney Ford (Supernatural) is the latest addition to the cast of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Ford is set to recur as Eleanor, Damien Darhk’s daughter.

The Joker Origin Movie Developing Without Jared Leto
Deadline has reported that a new Joker movie is in the works over at Warner Bros… without Jared Leto.
As we know, Leto was the latest actor to take on the Joker on the silver screen, a role who has been brilliantly played before by Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson. Even though Leto’s performance was criticized by a lot of fans, others admired his work as the character and are genuinely upset to see that he will be left out of the movie.
These fans mustn’t worry, however, Leto is not out of the DCEU as he was confirmed to make appearances in both Suicide Squad 2 and the Harley Quinn solo movie.
Now the question becomes, why is Leto not reprising his role as the Joker in this origin movie? Well, according to the article, this origin movie would be the first of a new set of DC movies that would “expand the canon of DC properties and create unique storylines with different actors playing the iconic characters.”
The Joker origin movie already has some behind-the-camera talent attached. Martin Scorsese (Taxi Drivers, Goodfellas, The Wolf of Wall Street) is set to produce alongside Todd Phillips (The Hangover, War Dogs) who will also direct and co-write with Scott Silver (The Fighter, The Finest Hours).
The movie would be set in the 80s and have a very different feeling from current DC films, leaning more towards the sensation of a Scorsese movie of the same time.
The movie doesn’t have a release date as of now.
