HBO Finally Confirms Game of Thrones Comes Back in 2019
There have been speculations for a long time now that hit series Game of Thrones would not come back to our screens in 2018. Well, now those speculations have been confirmed, as HBO announced on Thursday that the show’s final season will not air until 2019.
The very short announcement was made on HBO’s main page:
The epic fantasy series Game of Thrones will return for its six-episode, eighth and final season in 2019.
David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik will be the directors for the new season. Writers for the new season are David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, Bryan Cogman and Dave Hill.
This news comes as no surprise, as some people involved in the project have stated before that the show would not come back for a while.
This will be the final season of Game of Thrones and surely David Benioff and D.B. Weiss want to put out the best they can. Filming of the series started last October and it is rumoured to last until summer of this year.
FOX’s The Gifted Renewed for a Second Season
Good news for fans of The Gifted. In anticipation of the show’s two-hour long season finale, FOX has announced that the series is getting a second season!
The Gifted has been incredibly successful for FOX, reaching average 8.3 million people per episode. The show also ranks #3 new drama of the 2017-2018 season.
The current season of the show will have its season finale on Monday, Jan. 15 and it’s set to run for two hours.
Here’s a synopsis:
Dr. Campbell (guest star Garret Dillahunt) attends the Humanity Today summit, attempting to take the Hound program national, while some of the team at Mutant HQ go on a dangerous mission to stop his efforts. Then, the Mutant HQ comes under attack. With everything to lose, alliances shift and relationships are put to the test.

If there’s one thing that seems to be going well with the DC universe over at Warner Bros., that’s Titans.
As you may recall, we’ve reported on many casting news for the upcoming show before, including Anna Diop’s and Brenton Thwaites’ casting. Overall, fans have been very supportive and showing lots of excitement over this show.
Now, the good reactions continue as we now have new looks not only at Brenton Thwaites’ Robin but also Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly as Hawk & Dove.
These amazing and accurate costumes come from designer Laura Jean Shannon, whose past credits include Marvel’s Iron Man and the upcoming CW series Black Lightning.

Titans, from Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter and Warner Bros TV, is set to premiere in 2018 with the launch of a new untitled DC streaming service.
Identity of Alleged HBO Hacker Revealed
Federal authorities have revealed the identity of the hacker who extorted HBO this summer.
The alleged hacker, who has been identified as Iranian Behzad Mesri, has been terrorizing and extorting HBO for several months. Mesri allegedly leaked several episodes of Ballers, Room 104 and Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as the script for HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones.
Mesri is officially wanted for “stealing proprietary data, including information about then-unreleased episodes of the popular television series, Game of Thrones, and then allegedly seeking to extort HBO.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, he’s also specifically wanted for allegedly being involved “in criminal activities to include unauthorized access to computer systems, stealing proprietary data from those systems, and attempted extortion for approximately $6 million in Bitcoin.”
According to the article, Mesri is a member of the Turk Black Hat Security hacking team.

Promo for Episode 1.08 of The Gifted Reveals Origin of the Strucker Siblings’ Powers
If there’s anything we’ve learned so far about Lauren and Andy Strucker is that they are powerful.
In the latest promo for of The Gifted, we will learn more about the Strucker family and the importance of keeping Lauren and Andy away from Sentinel Services.
We’ve learned in the past couple of episodes that Sentinel Services is recruiting mutants and using them as weapons. Needless to say, there would be a lot of trouble for the mutant underground if Lauren and Andy were turned against them.
In the upcoming episode, Reed will go visit his father and learn that Lauren and Andy’s abilities are a family trait.

Reed and Lauren Clash in Newest Promo for The Gifted
With every new episode of The Gifted, the stakes get higher and higher, and there’s nothing saying they’re slowing down.
During next week’s episode of The Gifted, the Strucker family will see some trouble as Reed finds some dangerous information about Lauren’s new friend, Wes. This information sets Lauren against her father.
Meanwhile, Thunderbird helps Blink open up about her past, and Eclipse receives a call from Carmen who puts him on a dangerous mission.

The Strucker Kids Prepare for War in Latest Promo for The Gifted
The X-Men said there’s a war coming, and it could start at any moment.
The latest promo for FOX’s The Gifted features Lauren and Andy Strucker as they start their training with the Mutant Underground.
Next week’s episode, titled “got your siX,” will also feature Thunderbird as he tries to figure out what happened to his friend Gus after he was taken by Sentinel Services. Next week’s episode will see Blink make a big decision about her future.

Jace Throws his Strongest Forces into Finding the Mutant Underground in Newest The Gifted Promo
“The X-Men said a war is coming.”
The latest episode of The Gifted set the bar high when it comes to action in the show, and it gave us a happy ending after Lorna (Emma Dumont) and Reed (Stephen Moyer) managed to escape (after a lot of planning and a lot of things going wrong).
However, it looks like the Mutant Underground won’t have a lot of time to celebrate the reunions.
The stakes are getting higher in the latest promo for episode 1.05 of The Gifted, titled “boXed in,” as Jace sends the Sentinels Services to find the Mutant Underground headquarters.
The episode will also feature Blink (Jamie Chung) finally confronting Dreamer (Elena Satine).

Oliver and Felicity Lock Lips in Promo Images for Episode 6.03 of Arrow
Ahead of tonight’s episode of Arrow, the CW has decided to release 12 promotional images for next week’s episode.
The images feature Oliver and Felicity sharing laughs (and kisses), while Team Arrow try to figure out a way to bring down villainous Onyx.
Meanwhile, the synopsis promises Oliver struggling to connect with his son William.
A rogue black ops team led by Onyx (guest star Chastity Dotson) breaks into Kord Industries and steals something lethal. Oliver (Stephen Amell) struggles to connect with William (guest star Jack Moore) so he reaches out to a surprising source for help.

Netflix’s The Punisher Finally Has a Release Date + New Trailer!
The long wait for Marvel’s The Punisher is almost over, and this time is official!
Marvel has finally released the premiere date for The Punisher, Nov. 17.
This reveal comes almost two weeks after Marvel decided to pull its violence-heavy content from New York Comic-Con in wake of the Las Vegas shooting on Oct. 1.
The first season of the series will consist of 13 episodes and will star Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle a.k.a. The Punisher.
Marvel has also released an action-packed trailer full of both emotion and thrill.
