The Bachelor Australia‘s Blake Garvey Becomes “Australia’s Most Hated Man”, Reveals “Stripper” Past
The United States has had their own “most hated Bachelor“, now it’s Australia’s turn.
After debuting over the summer as a Bachelor that all of the international community was swooning over, Blake Garvey has become the most-hated man in Australia after The Bachelor Australia aired its final installment of the season. Fans have labeled Garvey a “jerk” and a “douchebag“.
The 31-year-old and his former bride-to-be Sam Frost recorded tell-all interviews which aired on The Project to explain what happened after he dumped her just weeks after proposing during the reality series’ finale. Frost came out on top with viewers, while Blake’s comments failed to go down well with fans.
I’ve had my heart broken throughout this, because I’ve said goodbye to many, many incredible women — all of them, now.
Viewers quickly called him a “love rat”.
Australia was shocked to discover that as the series finale of The Bachelor went to air, Garvey had already called off his engagement to Frost. Garvey made the decision to call off the engagement after the pressures of maintaining a long-distance relationship proved too much.
Post-finale and post-proposal, information about what was occurring behind-the-scenes of the reality television series has come to light. A bachelorette has spoken exclusively to Australia’s Herald Sun anonymously due to the strict nondisclosure agreements that all 29 bachelorettes had to sign. Here are a few tidbits this “anonymous” castaway had to say:
— Halfway through the season Blake was nicknamed “Blake the Fake” by the women.
— Blake was “really vanilla” (aka boring).
— Blake was just a “producer’s puppet”.
— Sam Frost was the most likely to say yes to a proposal, so she was moved up the list, while Blake had his eye on others.
Perth Confidential revealed that Blake Garvey was not only a topless waiter in the past, he’s the owner of Alpha Male Entertainment – a “male entertainment provider”. The website allows people to book an extravagant “hunk-centered” party, involving services like topless waiters and strippers. Garvey had previously claimed he’d given the topless job “a whirl” for two years after falling into it as a favor to a friend. But, it appears as if his foray into the world of adult entertainment is much deeper than that. He registered Alpha Male Entertainment in June 2013.
